Paul and Vicky Morgan, authors of Rock Around the Peak – Megalithic Monuments of the Peak District, (and Megalithic Portal editors) will be doing a lecture on the ancient sites of the Peak District for the Green Dragon Society in Leek on Wednesday 26th November 2003.

The talk will focus on sites in both Derbyshire and Cheshire, covering the chambered tombs, henges, stone circles, standing stones, round barrows, and prehistoric rock art, bringing in the latest research and new theories and discoveries.

The talk will held at the Swan Inn on St Edward Street in Leek (Staffordshire) and will begin at 7.45pm. There is a small entrance fee for non-members (around £2 or so).

Note: Come and see us on Wednesday - everyone welcome.

It's an hour and a half with a 15 minute break in the middle for a swift pint :-) Will probably be finished around 9.30 or so.

Would be great if you could make it.
