Magazine Article: Pennsylvania's Cairns

The magazine Ancient American has published a short article and photos of one of the sites of enigmatic stone formations in the eastern U.S. Some of you may recognize the cairn in the cover photo, although the angle is different from my photos.

This is the first coverage I have seen of any of the many sites I have visited in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. More such sites and related ones can be found through much of the eastern U.S., and most remain unstudied, although it is likely that some are actively used by the descendants of the people native to the areas before the arrival of Europeans.

This is a confusing site to get into, But writing from 1st hand experience of sites in Pennsylavnia; Shamokin, The Old Fort, The Stone Steps,The Knapp Stone, and 100's of other sites, of Stone " enigmas", especially along the Delaware River, and Harrisburg's missing Heiroglyph Pillar since the 1700's, There is a great amount yet to be explored, But as usual the "Establishment Archaeological Community" , will brush it off, no matter what is found-as "Wishful Thinking".

I now have a scanned version of the article in two emails, and will send it to anyone who is interested.
My email address is [email protected]. I do not agree with every point in it, but the attention to the topic is overdue.
