Venue: The London Wetlands Centre, Barnes (easily accessible from central London). Wetlands provide a window into the past – the earliest trackways in Europe, bog bodies and the marvellous preservation of ancient plants and animals.
Come along and discover the secrets of wetlands and the history of our landscapes and settlements. What are the threats to their survival and how can we manage wetlands to care for their future?
A panel of distinguished speakers will give illustrated talks about archaeological wetland projects across Britain.
Cost: £10.00 per person to cover registration and morning and afternoon tea and coffee.
Bookings: please telephone 0870 333 1183.
Line open from 9am – 5pm every day except Bank Holidays.
