Thanks as always to everyone who voted and entered. Just as a recap, each month all the photos submitted to the Megalithic Portal have a chance to win by being voted on by you, the Megalithic Portal visitors and contributors.

There is still time to vote on the August, September and Octobert competitions. We will be announcing the results of the August 2011 competition soon.

Please do vote and comment on any photos that particularly catch your eye. A vote from any person will start off the scoring - and remember that you are allowed to vote for your own photos once if you would like to put them forward. Equally you do not have to have your photos rated or voted on if you don't want to. Please contact Andy B if you do not want to take part.

More details on the monthly photo competitions are here.

July Photo Comp by Blingo_von_Trumpenstein on Monday, 21 November 2011

More amazing photos uploaded and shared through the portal. Nice one Angie - a thoughtful and moving photo. It makes me want to visit Scorhill. What a fantastic resource the Portal is {salutes Andy}. The photos are getting better every month - it feels as though people are really making an effort to capture sites as they feel them. This is as close as you can get to visiting the sites - an amazing experience if you cannot get to them personally. It is not just the photos that are shared - it is the sites themselves. Thank you everybody . . .

Oh my goodness!!! I didn't think that Scorhill pic would win me a first prize. so am well chuffed!! Thank you very much indeed voters. Congratulations, too, to the other winners for their excellent photos. While they're all good, Cazzy's pic makes me wish I'd gone to Down Tor this summer, as intended, and I esp love the quirkiness of JimllMixit's pic. ;-)
