Gwern Einion submitted by TimPrevett : A profile of Gwern Einion's capstone against the sky. (Vote or comment on this photo)
This is a work of some size by archaeologist M M Robinson; owing to that, it will be brought online in stages over the coming months. In the next few weeks, the text document will appear, as separate articles broken down into logical segments and chapters. To make it immediately usable, the bibliography, further reading, and advice on locating sites are going online too.

Each article will be linked from the contents page as it appears, and be able to link back to the contents page. This will hopefully give good usability.

Once the text is up in the form desired, links will be added to site entries and photographs to further illustrate the contents. Following that will be M M Robinson's original pictures brought online into the correct galleries, and matched with the correct site entries, which will then be linked from the article where required. Finally, will be the author's own hand drawn maps for the areas covered.

The heavier going archaeology will appear first, and it is hoped to get the accounts of travels up in time for the bulk of the summer holidays, so people can use them as desired

I have avoided using underlining so as not to give the impression of a link when there is no link to go to. Italics or bold are used as alternatives.

Footnotes relevant to each section appear in italics beneath each article, with a link straight to the bibliography.

This editorial foreword will change, and be flagged up accordingly, as the documents come online. Likewise, the appearance of this series will change until, many months away, all updates are in place.

Thankyou for being patient!

Tim
