Description
View of Loch of Houlland from the west back over the Holes of Scraada.
Looking inland over the Holes of Scraada and the Loch of Houlland, the broch can be seen above a line of ruins. These are 3 'horizontal mills' which were powered by the outlet from the loch, a common feature on burns in Shetland.
From the size of many stones in the mills, it seemed quite likely that much building material might have come from the ruined broch.
