Description
Here is the wavy-topped stone's position in Nympsfield longbarrow. In the distance is the picnic area and part of the car park. Coaley Peak is the name of this wonderful spot (or Frocester Hill), and the views across the lower land to the River Severn and Wales are stunning.
If it weren't for the trees behind the longbarrow, it would also share those views from its position on the edge of the escarpment.
