Description
SO 0984 2637
A Black Mountains group long cairn measuring 75’ by 51’ with a rectangular N-facing burial chamber set off-centre. It has 3 wallstones and a sloping capstone and was over 4' high but the floor level has risen over the years so that the clearance is now under 3'. The chamber opens on to a rectangular forecourt. The large stone to the NE of the chamber (lower left of picture) probably marks one side of the forecourt.
