Winter Solstice Night 2009. One of the comparatively rare occasions to admire the site slightly snowbound. This definitely helped to console myself from overclouded sky: Neither sunrise nor sunset were visible from this part of the world.

Central and eastern part of the large 11 capstone chamber. Foreground showing several kerb stones of the nearly completely removed barrow. Like at almost all sites in this area dry-walling and all other smaller stones are robbed.
