The inner width of the chamber is 15m x max 1.5m. The oval stonecircle is 22m long and 10m wide. A perfect example of an "Emsland Chamber Grave", missing only a few stones. The direction of the grave is about 274°. (Vote or comment on this photo)

This definitely helped to console oneself from overclouded sky: Neither sunrise nor sunset were visible from this part of the world.

Hueven Steingrab 1 submitted by Martin_L : View along most of the 22m x 10m ensemble from the SW. The earthwork is almost completely removed as well as the drywalling and all intermediate stones. The tomb has one of the best preserved enclosures in this region. I assume the enclosure was partly restored in historic times and some stones originating from a now lost passage were incorporated into it. (April 2009)
