Blatchford Brook Foot Settlement is a well preserved bronze age settlement on the eastern flanks of the Erme valley.

This is the view looking north up the Erme valley from the lower slopes of Stalldown.

The "kiss-in-the-Ring" stone circle, and the southern end of the longest ancient stone row in the world, can be seen running north over the darker green hillside in the gap between the distant moor skyline. The row ends on top of Green Hill, the high point on the skyline below the pointy white cloud 2/3 to the right.
