Description
The position of the largest stone in Cerrig Duon, now fallen, in relation to Maen Mawr. It stood in the NE arc of the circle, and most of the ritual movement in my dowse at the end of July 2005 was found in front of it. The view up the valley is to the NW, along the pathway of a zig-zag processional way, also picked up by dowsing. Its limit was at a tiny black dot on the edge of the lighter hill, just left of Maen Mawr. This was a large natural altar-like rock.
