Rock Art in Northumberland
Beckensall describes this rock art panel as being a cup marked slab found in an Iron Age structure near West Park Camp, Birtley. He adds: "The site lies among prehistoric monuments of different periods ... it may be simply a reuse of material; the details given of the discovery are vague, and it is not possible to consider that it might have been chosen and placed in a special position."
