IAmYamnaya visited on 1st Jan 2022 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 4 Access: 4 Excellently well preserved round barrow/kurgan in North Bristol, just down an asphalt path from Doncaster road. Has a monument next to it indicating where exactly it is. Has an info board next to it giving some contextual information about the Bronze age Britons (Bell beaker folk) and what was found at the site. Natural feeling forest surroundings.

A twice excavated (1873 & 1922/23) Bronze Age Barrow, the type is not mentioned. Located in an area of parkland/nature reserve, surprisingly well preserved. There is an information board nearby. The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, BS27.
