Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Midlothian.
There are a number of street names in the vicinity which refer to this well: Ladywell Road (an extension of High Street, to the west), Ladywell House, Ladywell Court, Ladywell Gardens, and Ladywell Avenue.

G. Upton Selway, in his "A Mid-Lothian Village - notes on the village and parish of Corstorphine" (published 1890) refers to this site:

There was another old well of fresh spring water not far from the Physic Well, and to the north of it, in what is now “Janefield”. It was known as Our Lady’s Well, and in former times was greatly used. A number of years ago, when other wells gave out during an extreme drought, the villagers sat round this spring all night, ladling out the water by means of saucers. The road near has been given the name of Ladywell.

The 1895 25" O.S. map (Edinburghshire sheet III.9) shows that Ladywell Road was called Lady Bank Well Road and a pump is marked nearby. The grid reference is of this pump. Morris and Morris ("Scottish Healing Wells. healing, holy, wishing and fairy wells", 1982) imply that this well has been lost within living memory.

Lady Well (Glasgow)
Lady Well (Glasgow) submitted by KiwiBetsy : Site in Renfrewshire The well used to flow from the east bank of the Merchants Park, but when this was converted to the Necropolis, the well became polluted and was closed. In 1836, The Merchants House built a niche on the spot to mark the site of it’s exit from the brae. This was rebuilt in 1874. (2 comments)

Lady Well (Tuesley)
Lady Well (Tuesley) submitted by DavidCWoods : I hope this is acceptable - a picture of a picture of the well. It's the window of St. John the Baptist church in Busbridge - clearly showing the 7th Century chapel with the well at the base of the hill and someone (a pilgrim ?) drinking from it. The church only dates to Victorian times, but at least it shows that at that point the well was recognised as significant.

Lady Well, Woolpit
Lady Well, Woolpit submitted by ermine : The actual site of the well is difficult to find, as it feeds a moat so there is a lot of water about. This brick enclosure is the well itself.

Re: Lady Well by Anonymous on Friday, 09 September 2016
The association with "Janefield" refers to Lady Jane, the martyr of Arran's Exiles during the 1550's. This well is quite significantly associated with the burnings of Edinburgh, and would likely demonstrate a monument to her remembrance. The reference to the well being "lost for a time" also reveals that her name has been exiled throughout history as well.
