Stone Circles in Perthshire

There are two stone circles here, very close together. The western circle of 11 stones has a diameter of 31 feet (centred on grid ref NO01273619). There are nine stones in a general circle configuration, and two stones buried in circle position. The westernmost stone is the largest stone, being about 6-feet long. The stones appear to have been graded to the S.

There are two stone circles here, virtually adjacent. The local farmer (at Gibbieston) referred to them as Strath-head and on a clear day I suspect there would be good views down the valley. Unfortunately it was the only wet morning of our week at Dunkeld but the dog has got to be walked so here I came - didn't see or conquer!

Approach from Gibbetson was easy as track fenced off at Glack.
