Hendrefor
Hendrefor submitted by TimPrevett : Ucheldref Burial Chamber SH551773 Visited Thursday 28th September 2000 SE Pentraeth, off B5109 Pentraeth to Beaumaris road. Two huge piles of stones in a field, basically! Another example of the decay of ancient monuments sad, but one supposes inevitable in many cases. The waves and contours in the rocks on these two are quite interesting to look at. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Sometime in the last couple of centuries the tomb at Hen Drefor collapsed. A large portal stone, capstone and supporting stone lie to the east with a group of three more stones close by. The site was sketched by an antiquarian named Skinner in the 19th century when the capstone was supported at an angle by the portal stone and another.
