Having gone over the bridge where St Gybi's Well is situated, take the next right, and the stone becomes visible after some time on your left. An impressive rose-quartz and white quartz menhir, 7 feet or so tall, it has a presiding presence over the field and environs. Most beautiful. I'd been waiting over ten years to visit this site, having been to its more immediately accessible easterly neighbour, Maenaddwyn, several times. Could find no one to ask for permission to visit, but visited in clear view of nearest farm, and was there for 30 mins. Considerable drive down private track, so having gone so far, I visited the stone for sunset.

A substantial maenhir, made of red stone common in the locality. Access is strictly by permission from the landowner; not sure who this is, but calling at nearby Ynys Fawr farm may help. I have images if anyone is interested, and will try to upload some here soon...
