TheCaptain visited on 9th Jun 2023 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 3 Access: 3 On the way back from another failed attempt to get to Goodaver circle, I decided not to completely give up, and went for a look for the stone row, in an open field to the west of the northern corner of the forest. It's open access land, and easy to enter the field after taking the track westwards from the radio mast. I first found what looked to be the remains of a hut circle, and then found the stone row. Its clearly an ancient stone row, with a few fairly big stones, but most of them are fairly small. The ground here was very rough and dry after such a prolonged period with no rain, but looks like it gets boggy and well trodden and churned up by the cattle in the fields.

SandyG visited on 22nd Jun 2017 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 3 Access: 3 Limited car parking is available at SX 19909 78177. From here follow the footpath south to the row. A map showing the footpath will be required.

Carneglos row
Carneglos row submitted by SandyG : Stone row in the foreground and the distinctive Brown Willy beyond. View from south east (Scale 1m). (Vote or comment on this photo)
60 metre long stone row on the slopes above the river Fowey valley in the middle of Bodmin Moor, just to the south of the A30 near to Bolventor.

The row runs along the contours of the hillside in a North South alignment, from SX19877737 to SX19887743. The small stones, about 6 inches high, are spaced at about 1.6 metres from each other.

Update October 2019: This row is featured on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website - see their entry for Carneglos, which includes a description, photographs of the alignment and the individual stones, a plan of the row, access information and a list of online resources for more information.

The row is also recorded as HER No. 3155 (CARNEGLOS - Neolithic stone alignment, Bronze Age stone alignment) on the Cornwall and Scilly HER. There appear to be no entries on either Pastscape or Historic England for this monument.
