A pair of standing stones known as 'The Sisters' near the village of Drift, a few miles to the northwest of Penzance along the A30. They stand 2.7m and 2.3m in height, and 5.5 metres apart from each other.

The larger of the two stones, which is the farthest from the road, is said to resemble a lady wearing a cloak, and I can vouch that from certain angles this does indeed look the case.

Access: The Sisters can be seen from the A30. There is a handy lay-by and easy access through the field, where they stand less than 100 yards from the gate.

If you are planning to visit these stones please note that a new crop is just sprouting in this field. I was lucky when I visited and dowsed in March 2004, as it was all grass then.
