Broch in Isle of Tiree

Ruins of an Iron Age broch located on a rocky knoll near the northern coast of Isle of Tiree. Internal diameter of the broch is 9.2 m, the walls reach up to 4.5 m of thickness. The outer wallface survived up to 2.2 m high. The site has been excavated in 1903 and 1962-64.
