Il a été transporté à proximité de la maison du propriétaire, aménagée dans l'ancienne ferme de Barbeyrolle.
C'est une dalle de grès de 1m 60 sur 90cm (au plus large) et environ 20cm d'épaisseur.
Elle a une forme en amande, la face antérieure plane avec un bord bien net, la face postérieure convexe avec les bords arrondis.
