I found it hard to determine exactly what the remains here once consisted of. I could see no obvious outline to a mound, and it seemed a fairly odd place for one to be, almost in a little hollow on the hillside, not the usual ridge. There is one smashing little slab sided chamber about 3 by 1.5 metres, with the stones protruding well up out of the remains of a stone built mound. Further west the remains of another smaller chamber can be made out in the edge of the stone mound. It is possible that there are other chambers here to the east of the obvious chamber, as there are several stone slabs as well as lumps and bumps in the ground to be seen scattered about, and indeed what seems to be some slabs positioned on edge.
But the situation is complicated by natural outcrops of rock here, which seem to have been quarried in the past, and could have been used to make the monument. There are some nice layers of stone, which it would appear to have had slabs removed from them, which give the impression of chambers or other features.
I would be interested to know if anyone knows more about this place.
