Chambered Tomb in Sardinia (Sardegna). Tomba di Giganti Barrancu Mannu (known also as Sa Tuerreda) is located in a rocky landscape NE of Terresoli. The dimensions of this Nuragic megalithic tomb are 17.90 x 10.38 m, the exedra survived in good condition - it is 4.67 m high.

The entrance (0.54 x 0.55 m) does not have stele and the exedra consists of cyclopean masonry which classifies Barrancu Mannu as the Middle Bronze Age fully Nuragic chambered tombs. The burial chamber is covered with series of large capstones.
About 30 m east of the tomb there is a rock shelter. The surrounding landscape is full of surrealistic rock outcrops - it is possible that location of the tomb had some sort of ritual significance.

To reach the megalithic tomb follow the signposts from Santadi. From the parking place NE of Barrancu Mannu you have to walk 800 m to the tomb, but through a beautiful landscape.
