Ancient Temple in Aydın Province, Turkey

Ionic temple started in the 4th century BCE and completed by Augustus. It was then completely destroyed in the 3rd century CE by fire and in the 4th century CE by an earthquake.

It measured 37 metres by 20 metres and had 11 by 6 ionic columns.
Archaeologists have re-erected a couple of columns, but there are enough remaining parts to rebuilt most of the temple at this splendid location, though there seems to be no motivation to do so.
