Birkenmoor Dolmen (3) submitted by SolarMegalith : Sprockhoff 120 - Kuhholzberg dolmen. Unfortunately I came here in afternoon of last day of my megalithic trip to Germany in 2004, so this site was the only one which I visited in Birkenmoor area so far. Birkenmoor Dolmen (3) submitted by holger_rix : Extended Dolmen in the Birkenmoor area, near Kuhholzberg. Just 35m from the street, you have a nice view on the chocolate side of this Dolmen when you drive by. The two uprights of the southern side are missing, but the 2.5m by 1.5m capstone is still resting safe. For sure a beauty to look at, perfect for the history interested tourist. Birkenmoor Dolmen (3) submitted by holger_rix : A tourist plan from Schwedeneck. This is my humble effort to 'decode' those tomb signs. There are three that i cannot explain, may be just Round Barrows? Anyhow, Schwedeneck / Birkenmoor, the peninsula between Kiel and Eckernfoerde, you have to go there. Krautrock and I have already planned our next trip here, so much more to see.
