One of Albersdorf's accessible dolmens. A nice location in a wooded area surrounded by houses!

The site is well signposted and should be visited as part of a trip to the Archaeological and Ecological Centre and local museum.

Albersdorf Brutkamp
Albersdorf Brutkamp submitted by Martin_L : Mainly exposed large hexagonal dolmen chamber with partly preserved passage. As far as one can see the dry walling is lost. The covering barrow is heavily eroded, but still significant. The chamber is more than half filled with earth making it hard to enter. The excellent new information panel is decently placed some metres away from the barrow which is a really praiseworthy decision of the author...

One more thing about the Brutkamp...

The mighty Dolmen has always been a sign for Fertility.

It is said, that rubbing your genitals against it helps a lot.
Best way is to slide down the capstone with a nacked backside...

I missed to give it a try.
