Just next to a modern farm at Hogstad is a large round burial cairn. It is located in a flat grassy field and overgrown with large trees and high grass around the edges. It is believed to be from the Late Bronze Age.
The cairn is 22 metres in diameter and 2,5 metres in height. It has some remains of a modern outhouse at the edge. The cairn is overgrown with high grass and large trees and from a distance it looks more like a round barrow rather than a cairn.
