On Erland farm in Skjoldastraumen there are 7 standing stones from the Scandinavian Iron Age. The area is filled with ancient sites, such as burial mounds, hills named after gods, a cave dwelling with archaeological finds. Erland has been a religious gathering place possibly as far back as the early Iron Age, about 500 years BCE.
There is a small parking lot by Erland farm and the standing stones are a short walk from the parking lot.
