Tumulus in La Marne
The Tumulus or tomb apparantly belongs to the Wisigoth King Théodoric 1st from 451 CE. Theodoric was killed in a batlle against Atila the Hun in this area while fiting on the side of the Romans under Atius.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Position of site unknown, co-ordinates given for nearest village. Lieu-dit La Garenne, just south of the village.
