About 3 km SW' of Eilat I found this 'Roded' type site completely washed by the torrential rains, no structure visible, only some slabs and limestone rocks scattered on the crystalline granite that formed the surface of a small Vally between the granite hills.
Looking closer I started to see the typical small figurines, slabs of lime flagstones, flint shards and utensils.
I realised that I'm in an ancient 'roded' site that had only remains and artifacts from a big cult site.
Searching around I found 15 figurines, most are natural anthropomorphic stones and some are partly sculpted, mostly on the neck, two natural basins and a buried hollow rock that looks like a heart.
I brought Dr. U. Avner to the site and we did a methodical survey, then we took all the artifacts that were scattered and took "family photos" of the assemblage.
