Artificial Mound in Montenegro
The mound dates to 1800-1200 BC. It's only 1.5 meters tall and contains a cist (just like other tumuli in Montenegro). Excavations produced golden disks with a cross pattern, very similar to those found in Ireland. This raises questions about a possible migration from the Black Sea region via the Balkans to Ireland. Some of the finds are in the City Museum in Podgorica.
