This site consist of a large star-shaped cairn, most possibly a burial cairn from the iron age, but some suggestions have been made that it has also served another purpose.

The cairn is formed as a star with 3 arms, each of the arms is about 15 metres long from the center to the point. one of them is pointing to the north. In the middle of the cairn is four larger stones placed to form a rectangle. Each of the stones are pointing to each compass direction. A phallus-shaped rock was also found near the center of the cairn, and also a female fertility symbol, making some suggest it also had a ritual meaning. Or maybe someone was buried in this cairn and the burial monument was later used as ritualistic activities.

About 10 metres away from the star shaped cairn, it was a huge round burial cairn, about 30 metres across, and about 2 metres tall, this cairn was excavated and removed many years ago.

Since the cairn is located on top of a small natural hill it is difficult to get a good photograph of the whole cairn. Grass grows inside the carin, so I had to focus the cam on those small places where the rocks are bare.

The site is located in a beautiful landscape with a beautiful view over the sea and the pointy mountains to the east.
