Round Barrow in Lower Saxony, Bremen

Large 6 Meter tall tumulus on main road in town, Schöppenstedter Strasse. Topped by 800 year Linde tree. The tumulus was used as early as 2400 BCE and was reused on many further ocasions. Until the 18th Century, the mound was used as a local court and was probably saved as a result.
