Sun Temple with Rock art in the USA. Deb Huglin writes: This particular Solstice place was partly created by the local indigenous people. It has been very ravaged in the past couple of years mainly because of big problems with enforcement in the Department of the interior at the moment.
The Chamber of the Stars is entirely gone and most of the Chamber of Corn is as well.
Remaining (last time I looked and it is a 5 hour drive from here in the middle of a desert across a desert) there was still the Chamber of the Sun and of the Moon, as well as social comment and other technical and cultural information. In all honesty, there are those who would take the megaliths out of their original places to try and suppress the cultural, technical and ancient knowledge for genocide and displacement tactics (development, mining, religious or other reasons.)
I am not going to give the exact name or details simply because of the problems with harvesting megaliths and rockart at the moment...later. I listed it at Tracce when it was in eminent danger. It helped somewhat to have international response to get the enforcement back in place sorta.
This is one of the few human made inscripted chambers that clocks the Sun's movement on Solstice at high noon (although there are many in the Americas that do so on private land.)
This one is important because the real (and traditional knowledge) dates of this particular Solstice event is from a period between 22,000-18,000 years ago. The references to Celestial events (especially the "Big Bear" viewing stone) indicate a major shift in the "Big Bear" stars after the event. It is recorded in Cup or Ring and Cup viewing places (put water in them and see where the stars are...the system will line up and deviations in space will indicate the age from movement or shift), and I am including the rock with the cups at the site. It shows the Big Bear star groups before the supernova event that made the dual star and made it no longer be a big rectangle (you have the same thing all over out there, like window panes.)
All the indigenous American groups had very specific Star Knowledge that still has accurate and extremely innovative technical interactive viewing areas. The very reason the megaliths and inscriptions need to stay in situ!
Cordially,
Deb Huglin
