Big Moor
Big Moor submitted by bec-zog : A set of photographs of the numerous cairns, cysts, barrows etc, which are located on Big Moor, Derbyshire. Most of these can be found with a bit of diligent search near to the Barbrook circles. I did not log the co-ordinates of each site. Can any eagle eyed readers identify any of the sites shown here more exactly? (Vote or comment on this photo)
Ancient Village or Settlement in Derbyshire. Please find below a set of photographs of the numerous cairns, cysts, barrows etc, which are located on Big Moor, Derbyshire.

Most of these can be found with a bit of diligent search near to the Barbrook circles.

Unfortunately my list of the co-ordinates for the Big Moor Sites are logged in a small red notebook lost somewhere on Big Moor (plus a roll of film)! If any body finds them I would appreciate their return. It was near Barbrook 2.

All the sites lay within the area SK275754 to SK285754 by SK276768 to SK286768

Can any eagle eyed readers identify any of the sites shown here more exactly?
