The standing stone is around 1.8 metres in height, 1.20 metres wide and 0.50 metres thick. It has a flat top. Stinging nettles and gooseberries grow close to the stone in the north and east. The standing stone originally stood further south, on the edge of a stream where the main road runs today. When the new road was being built, the stone was taken down and placed on the north side of the road where it now is located. In the area where the stone stood, one came down on a layer of small boulders.
