Borgby-skans is an impressive hill fort (Fornborg) located on a natural steep hill to the south of Borgby village to the east of Kolbäck. The fort's main entrance was probably the southern one although other entrances also exist. The double walls are constructed of large boulders with a space between the inner and outer wall. The inner wall runs for approximately 150 metres and is between 2 and 3 metres high whilst the outer wall runs for 250 metres and is between 0.5 metres and 1.5 metres high. The whole site is very impressive. There is good car parking below the site just before the crossroads at Borgby on the road eastwards from Kolbäck.
