If you wish to try, sandy lane can be accessed by leaving Woolacombe beach toward Ilfracombe on the B3343 and as you start to ascend the hill it is the narrow road on the left opposite The Red Barn Pub. Sandy Lane is not suitable for large vans/motorhomes.
