Llanllawer Holy Well

Llanllawer Holy Well submitted by vicky on 8th Jun 2004. This holy well lies adjacent to the road (from which it is signposted) in the village of Llanllawer. The spring (which was dry on a recent visit) was used for healing diseases of the eyes and also as a wishing well.

Log Text: This well is on private land but the owner, a very nice chap, allows respectful access. Sometimes there are sheep in the field. The well is behind a hedge next to the road. There is a lay-by about 100 yards south of the field entrance.

Llech Y Dribedd

Llech Y Dribedd submitted by Horatio on 7th Jun 2019. Easy access, public footpath right up to it, poor light, so a black and white image. Lovely stone and one to revisit in optimal light conditions. Very atmospheric.

Log Text: My dragon venture took me here. One upright, from memory has a severe crack.
