Treasury of Atreus submitted by AlexHunger on 26th Aug 2006. Fanciful name give to a Tholos in use around 1250 BCE, long before the Trojan War. This is one of the few accessible tholos that is completely intact. 36 Meter Dromos.

Anta da Arca submitted by Alta-Falisa on 28th Mar 2015. Strangely enough, this remarkable dolmen is not signposted anywhere. On the site, a board laconicaly says "Anta". However, even reduced to its few surviving components : a capstone, three uprights and a few smaller stones, Anta de Arca (the name of the nearby village) is one of the most elegant in Northern Portugal. Anta de Pendilhe submitted by Alta-Falisa on 30th Mar 2015. I confess that the photo by João Carvalho, July 2005, is far superior to my modest contribution.
While there myself (March 2015), I met a shepherd. It was very heart-warming to realise how pleased he was to see a foreigner, speaking some kind of broken Portuguese, showing so much interest for a monument along which he passes every day.
