The site is accessible off the minor road that links the devil's Causeway with the A611. The carving(s) are are in and W. of a long plantation. The sites are on private land.

6km South of Kirkcudbrightshire, on a untidy piece of land, 15m N of Torrs Farm.
The site is on private land. Permission should be sought from the farmer.
A nicely designed motif called 'The Prince of Wales Feathers', first reported by Fred R. Coles in 1894.

3km W. of Borgue, 600m W. of Ingleston Farm, 4.5 m NW of a small stream, 1m S. of a telegraph pole! (hard to miss!) Access is via a hole in the road's wall.
An outlying motif with a cup and three complete rings (20cm in diam.)

Take the small road from the A747, 1km ESE of Monreith, to Golfcourse 'The Lag'. On the right side, just after the cattlegrid, there is a rocky hillock with an Otter statue on top. The motifs are just below the statue on a small ledge. There is public access.
A single left hand spiral, 17cm in diameter and a 'grid' comprising 6 near-rectangular squares of 16 x 13 cm. It is claimed that these motifs are the nearest (12...

Dod Law submitted by rockartuk on 29th Aug 2001. This carved outcrop was found during excavations in 1984-5. Some decorated "portables" were brought to Newcastle University Museum (not on display). The site is special for a hard stone tool was found here. It was probably used to create the motifs. Excavation, Doddington, England (NU 0041 3178)
