The macarbe double-gibbet makes the site easy to find from the valley below. The erosion due to people walking the length of the barrow is visible in this picture: the info board says that various measures have been taken to try and limit wear and tear by the visitors to this great viewpoint.

Site Type: Pyramid / Mastaba
Country: Egypt (Lower Egypt (North))
Visited: Yes on 1st Jan 1987
Khafre's Pyramid submitted by Thorgrim on 13th Feb 2005. The most awesome experience is to enter the Pyramid of Khafre at Giza. Site Type: Standing Stones
Country: Wales (Powys)
Visited: Couldn't find on 18th Jul 2009
Kinnerton submitted by TheWhiteRider on 4th Jul 2005. We could only find one of the Kinerton Standing Stones. This one, just visible in the long grass is right next to a footpath. The other, according to the map, is just a little way down the road, but appears to be on private land and is hidden by a high hedge and other foliage. A visit during the Winter months may offer a glimpse of it.
