Follow the directions on the map until the footpath splits. Here you will find a faded white sign marked Jesus Well. Take this footpath until you get to another sign saying follow the white stones to the well.

Giew Mine

Giew Mine submitted by paulcall on 28th Nov 2006. Also known as Trink Hill menhir, this stone stands on the west side of the hill in a damp area near a spring. It is 2 meters tall, and taller than nearby stones erected for tin mining purposes. This is a view looking south towards Mounts Bay.

According to RootsWeb.com, this well is also known as Maggy Figgy and Margery Daw and was a popular place to christen your doll on Good Friday.
