Log Text: Situated along a road with street parking. It was fenced off and the gate was closed when I visited, probably an unfinished project. Earthworks that looks to be original and ancient is visible. Educational facilities and reconstructions in the site were clearly visible. Hope the work there will be done well, finished in due time and open to visitors become a nice educational site

Log Text: At the outskirt of the village. Can be driven to from a short unpaved road into the village from the main paved road that goes through the village. The site is fenced but the gate was not locked, although the gate was rusty and a little bit difficult to open. There was a little bit of flooding at the site when I visited.

Log Text: It is along an unpaved road, but most vehicles would not be able to access. Drive until the vehicle cannot go further and walk the rest of the way. A quite interesting site with multiple standing stones, not exactly circular arrangement

Log Text: A UNESCO Heritage site with perfect accessibility. A very complex site. I marvel at the skill of the archaeologists that excavated this site, it must have been a very difficult task. The illustrations did its best to help people understand the site but it is still rather difficult to comprehend due to its complexity. A museum is adjacent to the site.

Log Text: Alexandria Troas is actually a large and spreadout site. This is only the location of the forum. The bath and the ancient harbour is a few minutes drive on opposite directions

Log Text: The temple of Athena is at the acropolis. Apart from the temple of Athena, Assos is a quite large site that requires quite a bit walking up the acropolis and down the port. But it is a nice site. I spent around 3 hours here.

Log Text: This place actually used to be a major Aeolian city state in the region

To get to the site, I parked the car beside the stream at the village of Yanikkoy, crossed the stream and started following the Roman road. The necropolis was also easily reached. But to reach the acropolis was really difficult. After passing the necropolis there was a gate, which was not locked but hooked closed. Just unhook the gate and get in and then rehook it back after you go through. But after following the Roman road for a while, the path becomes obscure and confusing. At first it seemed like circling around the peak to the left side before turning right to head up. It was extremely difficult to navigate and find the way up the acropolis, and I suspect there are multiple small paths up there (probly goat herding paths). I only managed with more than a decade of bushwalking pathfinding experience to reach the acropolis. And I struggled to find the exact way I came up from when I was going back down. I ended up navigated a different way back. It was very windy and chilly up the acropolis in mid-April. But the views was magnificent and there were some visible ruins of a castle up there

Log Text: Accessed through an unpaved road most vehicles could not drive on. Requiring a bit more of a walk up a gentle slope after parking the car where it can no longer drive forward. In a very ruined and overgrown when I visited. The ruined city is quite large and extensive in area but difficult to explore it all due to the overgrowth
