Eassie submitted by hamish on 20th Oct 2005. This is the most difficult stone to photograph, I tried putting the lens to the glass but couldn't see enough of the stone. This picture is taken by putting the camera through the small window and hoping for the best.

St Fergus's Well

St Fergus's Well submitted by hamish on 29th Nov 2005. It was a dull day when I was here so I used flash. What a place though, vegetation going mad all round. The water is sweet to taste, don't forget a silver coin for the well spirit.

Blackgate of Pitscandlie

Blackgate of Pitscandlie submitted by hamish on 24th Jun 2007. After visiting Aberlemno carry on down the road towards Forfar, there is a turning on the right about three quarters of a mile after Pitscandlie House. There is just enough room to park on the edge of the lane. Walk up the lane for about 150yds and in the yard of the second house is the remains of this Circle. Two massive stones go pretty well unnoticed by the folk who live here.
