Rectangular burial chamber, oriented ESE-WNW.
Chamber is approx. 2.5 m x 1.5 m and clearance under the capstones are up to 1.0 m.
Outside stone chamber measuring approx. 3.5 x 3.5 m.
The tomb is covered with a heavy capstone closing the entire chamber.
At capstone seen at least 18 cupmarks.

Its a cracking little barrow, with the most wonderful passage and chambers inside, and the powers that be have even left a decent sized area around it free of any farming activity. A lovely sunny day, but some of the walk to the barrow was horrendously muddy.
The fields around the barrow had recently been ploughed, a crop of beet of some sort having been the last grown. While walking back after my visit, I found a bit of the lovely golden colou...

Watch out for the large ants in the bush by the site sign - as I pressed towards the overgrown sign I found 20 or more large ants climbing over me in just sceonds. Some were still emerging from my clothing after I got back into the car.
