Steinfeld Steingrab 2 submitted by AlexHunger on 1st May 2006. This relatively compact Alee Couverte consists of 8 uprights while 2 out of 3 cap stones survive. A fragment of the 3rd lies just beside the tomb. Archeologists presume the former tumulus was surrounded by kerbstones.
The site has been restored since Sprockhoff's survey in the 1930s.

No. 1 (counting from West) is blown into 1 large and 2 small fragments (the latter not visible in this picture) an partly collapsed into the chamber.
No. 2: is one of the largest capstones in this area, measuring approximately 4,1m x 2,6m x 1,8m. It is still resting on its orthostats, but not in situ. April 2008

The westernmost capstone is missing, the central capstone is blown into 2 pieces. Trapezoid chamber, partly filled with earth. Clear size 6m x 2,5m-2m.

Garen Steingrab 'Am Hohen Stein' submitted by RunaStera on 20th Jun 2005. Hunebed #963 in the County of Cloppenburg (CLP) "Der Hohe Stein" in an arrangement of two hunebeds called "Garener Steine". The chamber is extensivly destroyed but the building beams with joy.

Smallish 1.5 Meters by 1.9 Meters menhir with with unusually rounded cap stone, surounded by 6 boulder sized uprights and surounded by large vestigial tumulus. The Dolmen was discovered in 1972 and restored in 1975. The plaque says the dolmen dates to 2000 BCE, though this seems a little late for this type of monument. To the side of the parking lot in front of the Sports complex. Close to Wolfsburg, home of the VW Beetle.

9 Meter long Allee Couverte dating to about 3500 BCE. This site was excavated in 1950 and relocated 200 Meters to the side of the hill in order to make room for more intensive farming. Due the jumbled state of the stones, the nearby Lübbensteine were used as inspiration.

Boerger Steingrab 'Steenhus' submitted by Martin_L on 9th May 2011. View towards the lateral entrance. Passage damaged, but the two western orthostats are preserved in situ. The skeleton of the 23,5m by 4m chamber is halfway embedded into remains of the eroded barrow. One remaining kerbstone of an appr. 29m by 10m enclosure visible foreground left.
