Tregaminion Holy Well submitted by enkidu41 on 29th Apr 2004. SW 401359
Also referred to as Morvah Well this has only just been rediscovered and restored. Set some way back from the cliff edge it is beautifully situated - or would be if the detritus of the modern world was removed.

Tregeseal East
Date Added: 30th Sep 2010
Site Type: Stone Circle
Country: England (Cornwall)
Visited: Yes
Tregeseal East submitted by Andy B on 24th Mar 2010. Photo from June 2009. The cattle were supposed to trample down the bracken but only ate the grass within the circle, destabilising several stones that, after we reported it to the Historic Environment Service in Truro, had to be secured. The HES then organised a manual cutting of surrounding bracken to give the cattle more space away from the circle!
So far this is the only major site to be affected, others not yet being grazed although it is planned to do this at Men-an-Tol and Lanyon Quoit.

St Nectan's Well (Stoke)
Date Added: 25th Jul 2011
Site Type: Holy Well or Sacred Spring
Country: England (Devon)
Visited: Yes

St Nectan's Well (Stoke) submitted by KiwiBetsy on 11th Dec 2004. St Nectan’s Well is on the site of the hut where the 6th century Welsh hermit, St Nectan, is said to have returned carrying his head after being set upon by thieves who beheaded him.
Graffiti on the wooden door and the very ugly new steel grille indicate that today there is still a vandal problem but fortunately they now tend to deface rather than dehead.
A signed path from the main road follows a stream down to the well.

Boswens Menhir
Date Added: 30th Sep 2010

Visited: Yes

Boswens Menhir submitted by enkidu41 on 3rd Mar 2004. Boswens Menhir - a 2.6m high Bronze Age stone standing at the centre of a much denuded cairn. The stone seems to have been carefully placed as it is possible (just) to see many other megalithic sites from here including Lanyon Quoit, Chun Quoit, and Boskednan Circle. Perched on top it is also possible to see West Lanyon Quoit and Tregeseal Circle.

Hobajons Cross submitted by thecaptain on 6th Aug 2004. Hobajons Cross. This relatively large stone is part of the Butterdon Hill row, and has a simple cross carved into it on the western face. It appears to be a part of the original alignment, adapted for more recent use as a marker for ancient tracks crossing the moor.

The Longstone (Piles Hill) submitted by thecaptain on 7th Aug 2004. This is a view looking to the south, along the full 2km length of the Butterdon Hill stone row. Butterdon Hill with its two large cairns, where the row starts, is on the horizon.
Butterdon Hill Barrow, where the row reaches the top of the ridge and changes direction can also just be made out, midway between the top of the longstone and the left hand cairn.
