Take the road south through Mabe Burnthouse (SW of A39, W of Penryn & Falmouth). When the church becomes clearly visible, take the junction to the right on a sharp bend. The church is on the left and convenient parking adjacent the cemetery.

From Mawnan village follow the signs for about 1 mile to the Mawnan Old Parish Church which is situated on the clifftop 4 miles southwest of Falmouth Bay. The church dates from the 13th century.

Boscregan Cairns submitted by Bladup on 10th Nov 2012. Carn Creis southern kerb cairn, only 7m across, it yielded an astonishing range of finds. This had been a kerbed ring mound raised around a natural boulder 1.2m high, and within it were four urns, three of them dating from the middle bronze Age, along with other fragments of pottery, a perforated stone, a leaf-shaped arrowhead, shale discs, pieces of glass, a steatite button and number of segmented faience beads.”

St. Pedyr's Well submitted by cazzyjane on 4th Sep 2013. St Pedyr's Well, Treloy. There was formerly a chapel close by and the well was resorted to by the sick during the 17th century. After being left to ruin, it was restored in 1953 by the Old Cornwall Society. It is now the most wonderfully peaceful and atmospheric spot.

The well’s sign says “With a tablet stone dated 1700 this well once had a reputation for healing weak and troubled eyes and supplied water for the local inhabitants. The name Bree comes from the Cornish word ‘bre’ which means hill and survives from the 15th and 16th century Priory administration, where ‘Breest’ appeared in account rolls of rent paying tenants showing the ‘hillside east’ was then occupied.
